NASL 50th! Weekend Details

The calendar of events is:

Friday, October 19

• 2:00 pm, NASL50th! Press Conference at Toyota Stadium, Frisco, TX, for ex-1968 to 1984 NASL Players, Coaches, Owners and Staff.
• 7:30 pm-midnight, NASL50th! Reunion at the Westin Hotel, Frisco, TOWN and COUNTRY ROOM/evening reception.

Saturday, October 20

• 8:00 am-midnight, Ongoing NASL50th! Reunion at the Westin Hotel DOGWOOD ROOM – No evening events currently planned.
• 9:30-10:30 am, practice session at FC Dallas’ Toyota Stadium for those playing in the Legends Game.
• 12 noon, NASL50th! Luncheon at the Westin Hotel for ex-1968 to 1984 NASL Players, Coaches, Owners, Staff and Wives/Partners.

Sunday, October 21

• 8:00 am-midnight, Ongoing NASL50th! Reunion at the Westin Hotel DOGWOOD ROOM.
• 9:30 am-10:30 am, practice session at FC Dallas’ Toyota Stadium for those playing in the Legends Game.
• 4:00 pm, FC Dallas v. Sporting Kansas City MLS game at Toyota Stadium.
• 6:30 pm (approximately), NASL50th! Legends Game, followed by autograph session.
• 8:00 pm-11:30 pm, Post-Game Party at the British Lion Pub across from Toyota Stadium for Players, Coaches, Owners, Staff and Wives/Partners.

To avoid confusion, please be aware that the NASL50th events are being held alongside but separate from the National Soccer Hall of Fame opening, induction ceremony, and concert on October 20. There will also be a SASH (Society for American Soccer History) conference during the weekend, exploring a variety of historical topics about the game in the USA.

Transportation will be provided for NASL personnel and their families staying at the Westin Hotel and will run from the airports to the hotel, to Toyota Stadium for all of the listed events, and finally back to the airports. Hotel shuttle buses operate regularly to major shopping areas.
